About Lisa Lowell

I am a 1989 graduate of Saint Leo University College in St. Leo, Florida with a major in Graphic Arts. After graduating, I had the privilege to work for Walt Disney World. I, and my “Cast Members” as Disney likes to say, did Visual Merchandise Display on Disney campuses, from the hotels to the Disney shops. I designed the windows, ledges, and showcases to display their merchandise in a fun and fantasy-like way! I also made the displays needed of all new merchandise to coincide with the grand openings of Disney's movies. These promotions took place mainly in the Character Stores. l learned how to use my proportions, dimensions, accents and much more. Little did I know this would lead to the richness of my colors used in my murals, and my own business!

We have five children, all girls! When our children were younger, my art was set aside temporarily. After a few years, I got the itch for painting again. I started painting bedrooms in a fun way that let others see how to bring a room to life, and suddenly it grew into a business! Fortunately, one job kept leading into another and I kept expanding. Our family moved to Cary, North Carolina in 2007. Since moving to Cary, our children are self sufficient, giving me an opportunity in my community to paint two murals at our community pool. I have also done other work for residents here in NC, and have the wheels rolling at top speed.

As you look through the galleries, you can see a variety of my work, including fauxs, logos, scenes, characters, patterns, even designs for books. Though many of my murals are rich in colors, I also use my oils to make a more subtle statement if needed in an office, formal room, etc. My desire is to make sure the client has exactly what they desire. This means meeting with you, the client, to get your ideas and brainstorm. I make samples of the inspirations we shared with each other. We meet again, for constructive criticism, and to find out how close I am to what you're looking for. This can happen several times until we have what you desire. This time and effort is on my behalf, as you are my number one priority. After we settle on your final design, I am better able to predict both your cost, and a more accurate time frame for completion.

I am always learning from my customers and am willing to expand on new things to create, for my heart thrives on that! I, like Disney, love making your dreams come true. Hopefully, we can bring a room to life for you too, or as we like to say, "Let your walls talk!"

Sincerely,
Lisa Lowell
